Claire Folkes

Based in Hempstead, Essex, Claire Folkes is a potter specialising in wheel-shaped porcelain and stoneware. Claire favours simple decorations with neutral colours and uses two firings for a highly glazed finish. To emphasize the transformation of clay, some sections are left unglazed. Claire’s ceramic creations are dishwasher and microwave safe, but it is recommend handwashing delicate ceramic pieces. But all Claire Folkes ceramics are designed to be used and cherished.
