About artist Wee Bothy Art : We are a mother-daughter printmaking team specializing in Lino and Silk Screen. Eleanor studied Graphic Design at Glasgow School of Art and taught art for 30 years, while Holly has a Degree in Environmental Science, which influences our eco-friendly approach. We prioritize sustainable, durable materials in our work.
Our botanical-focused art begins with pen and ink drawings from life or photographs, which we carve into traditional Lino. Each handprinted Linocut is unique, including our open-ended prints, multi-block prints, and limited edition reduction prints featuring endangered species.
For silk screen printing, we work with natural fabrics, particularly linen. Using eco-friendly dyes, we create one-of-a-kind home furnishings like napkins, table runners, cushions, and lampshades. Our newest additions are large linen wall panel screen-prints, each uniquely handprinted.
