If you had told us in March 2025 that our gallery would feel so at home, so quickly, in Castle Hedingham, we might not have believed you. Yet here we are— Thank you for welcoming Wonky Wheel so warmly to the village.
The Heart of Our First Half-Year
Friendly faces every day, especially our canine visitors who come to say hello—you know who you are! I couldn’t possibly single anyone out.
From quick pop-ins for a greeting card to long chats about favourite pieces on display. We now recognise regulars by their art preferences and their dogs’ names, and we love it.
Curated Gallery by Local Artists and Makers
We set out to bring local pottery back to the home of Essex Pottery, and in doing so, we’ve curated a wide selection. You’re loving both the quirky ceramics as well as the functional pieces.
Our Exhibition room has changed regularly—perhaps too often for some customers. Going forward, I’m going to slow down and take more time with exhibitions for the remainder of the year.
Moments We’re Proud Of
We have launched our creative workshops and they are steadily growing in popularity. Our next workshop is Saturday 20th September, featuring the first stage of jewellery making.
We connected with the community when we attended the St James Fair in July—thank you for inviting us to this event.
