Wonky Wheel Gallery is thrilled to announce an upcoming art exhibition that brings the wonders of British wildlife to life. This unique showcase is set to present the style of British wildlife by talented local artists. With a diverse range of subjects, from the majesty of birds to the whimsy of hares, this exhibition promises to be a celebration of nature’s beauty.
We will have a special preview evening on Friday, 3rd May. This event, beginning at 5pm and concluding at 8pm, will provide attendees with an early opportunity to take a look at the stunning artworks before we open our doors to the public from Saturday, 4th May through to Monday, 6th May. During this period, guests are welcome to visit and explore the curated collection from 11am to 4pm each day.
This event is set to take place at the historic Grade 1 listed Finchingfield Guildhall, a location that is rich in charm and steeped in history. Conveniently located at Church Hill, CM7 4NN, the Guildhall promises to provide a fitting backdrop to the artworks on display.
We are particularly excited to invite you to explore an extensive collection of paintings by local artists Laura Beardsell-Moore, Debbie Knight, and Joshua McDowall. These established and emerging artists, hailing from the heart of Essex and Suffolk, will present a diverse range of themes, from intricate bird studies to hares, pheasant, and beavers. Among the array of artworks, you’ll find some artwork of our very own beavers from Finchingfield by the talented Debbie Knight. Each painting in the exhibition not only symbolises a deep connection to the natural world, but also demonstrates a deep respect for the creatures that inhabit it. We look forward to welcoming you to this event.
