All Moniko products are individually crafted from vintage kimonos. While we respect and honor past creations and artisans, they also focus on the future by creating a better present for as many people as possible.
We collaborate with self-help groups and individual artisans in Malaysia and Cambodia. When choosing production partners, Moniko aim to uplift families and small communities, providing opportunities to those with disabilities or those in difficult social situations. These artisans are paid a fair price for their work. Moniko provide all necessary materials, equipment, and training to ensure the customer receive high-quality products.
