A concave disc of reticulated sterling silver which has been aged to add depth and definition to the texture created by reticulation. Hanging nestled inside is a small deep red ruby.
The pendant hangs from an 18inch ball chain, the pendant is approx. 1cm wide.
Reticulating silver is a process whereby sterling silver sheet is heated under a flame, quenched and pickled multiple times. This removes some copper from the alloy concentrating the remainder at the core and the result is the silver on the surface creates a lovely organic texture, because of the process each piece will always be unique.
All sterling silver is 100% recycled.
Store away from direct sunlight and moisture and avoid wearing while swimming, showering, etc or them coming into direct contact with chemicals, such as perfume, household cleaning products, etc. All metals, particularly sterling silver and copper will tarnish, so they will benefit from a polish from time to time, some tarnish can add to a piece by adding depth and some people prefer, particularly copper with a less polished appearance.
