Made from recycled copper pipe. The pipe is cut to form a sheet, then cut, filed, folded, textured, shaped, and polished (with a few other steps in between). The texture for this piece comes from a vintage ball-pein hammer.
The width of the cuff is approximately 1.1 cm
Internal diameter of approximately 6.6 cm × 5.7 cm
Length is approximately 18.9 cm with a 3 cm gap
As this is recycled copper, there are some nicks and marks I’ve intentionally left unpolished, as they add character and tell the story of the piece.
The cuff has been coated with a wax polish to protect the finish, but this will wear off over time, allowing the copper to naturally discolor with exposure to moisture, oxygen, heat, etc. You can polish it with a soft cloth and copper-suitable metal polishing cream to achieve your preferred shade—the beauty of copper lies in its many tones.
Store away from direct sunlight and moisture. Avoid wearing while swimming, showering, or when in direct contact with chemicals such as perfume, household cleaning products, etc.
