In Through Time She Stands, Kerrie Creighton presents a visionary architectural study of Hedingham Castle’s famous Norman keep. Reconstructed in painting as it stood before two of its four corner turrets were dismantled for stone in the late 16th century, the keep rises above soft, romantic grounds reminiscent of Victorian landscape designs.
Embedded within the fine detail of the painting lies a secret micro-find: a miniature medieval annular brooch set with red garnets, waiting to be discovered using a magnifying glass. Framed in an ornate gilt profile frame, the painting layer upon layer merges historical reconstruction, landscape art, and the thrill of the hidden find.
Housed in a Vintage Gilt frame.
